The Construction Process
Stephenson Corporation has developed rigorous procedures and standard work instructions to ensure that every possible factor that can affect your building project is taken into careful consideration. From beginning to end, we apply quality and consistency in the work that we do for you.
Before We Start On Your Building
Before construction begins, we will have a Project Start-up Meeting with you to discuss:
- The scope of work.
- The start, completion, and delivery dates.
- Which of your staff members will be our point of contact.
- Where will we set up our equipment and materials.
- The crew size required for an optimum construction schedule.
- Interior and exterior conditions of your facility.
- Safety requirements around the work site.
- Any specialty considerations.
During Construction
During the construction project, you can expect:
- A qualified, experienced, OSHA-certified foreman will be dedicated to the project full time.
- Safety inspections to prevent injury to your employees or facility will be conducted every week by one of our state-certified OSHA inspector/instructors.
- Daily clean-up of the work site to minimize the interruption to your normal daily routines.
- The job site will be made watertight every night to prevent damage to your facility, assets, or the work in progress.
- We used skilled tradesman, who have completed, or are being supervised by tradesman who have completed, their three-year apprenticeship.
- Our skilled tradesmen are trained to spot, and remove, asbestos, should any be found in your roofing system.
When Your Project Is Complete
At the end of the project:
- An inspector from each of the applicable material manufacturers will inspect the completed project to ensure the materials were applied correctly. At that time, you will receive a warranty from the manufacturer for the materials.
- You will receive our guarantee of quality workmanship.
